WILLIE F. WEEKS

{LEAD} Willie Francis Weeks, 77, of the 1500 block of Boxwood Drive, died June 28, 1994, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Weeks was born in Roanoke, Va., and was the widower of Frances M. Weeks. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

{REST} Survivors include two sons, Walter D. Powers of Elizabeth City and Richard L. Weeks of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Louella Steven of Bedford, Va., Pauline Rife of Okeechobee, Fla., and Ernestine Boland of Irvine, Calif.; seven grandchildren, including Richard B. Weeks of Suffolk; 16 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Alice Albright of Richmond.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Allen L. Dooley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Lung Association.
