Chad Perkins makes his way over a pear tree after rigging a strap to
pull the split timber away from Thomas Connole's Western Branch home
on Bruin Drive. Perkins, who dates Connole's daughter Tina, was
helping clear the tree after winds from Monday's thunderstorm blew
it down.
