DORIS R. MCCOY

Doris Ramsey McCoy, 68, died at home on June 30, 1994.

She was born in Johnson City, Tenn., where she graduated from Science Hill High School and the Appalachian School of Nursing.

Mrs. McCoy was a member of Bayside Christian Church, where she served as treasurer and was on the Official Board. She belonged to the Bayside Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed bridge, kart-racing and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. McCoy; three sons, Charles E. ``Butch'' McCoy of Merritt Island, Fla., Keith R. McCoy and Barry L. McCoy, both of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; two sisters, Jane R. Cornett of Edgewater, Fla., and Joan Edgar of Kingsport, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Michael R. McCoy of Chesapeake and Nikki McCoy of Merritt Island, Fla.; three nieces and three nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 1994, in Bayside Christian Church, 2224 Greenwell Road, Virginia Beach. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Doris R. McCoy Memorial Fund, Bayside Christian Church, or to Hospice, 4663 Haygood Road, Suite 211, Virginia Beach, Va. 23455.
