Louis Roberts, 86, of Virginia Beach, died June 29, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mr. Roberts was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the widower of Ida Roberts. Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1931, he specialized in workers compensation and disability law, until his retirement 10 years ago. He was a member of Masonic Gotham Lodge (NU)934.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Elliot and Tey Roberts of Carmel, Calif., and Steve and Kathy Roberts of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren, Bari, Lisa, Michael, Jen, Kim, Shannon, Chris and Kiley; four great-grandchildren, Jacquelline, Julianna, Don and Bryan; one brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ruchowitz of New Jersey; and two sisters, Stella Burris and Mary Greenblatt, both of New York.
A private graveside service will be conducted in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel.
