MARY C. LANDON

Mary Catherine Landon, 75, of the 700 block of Severn Drive, a retired purchasing agent, died June 29, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Landon was born in Durham, N.C., and was retired from civil service at the Pentagon. She was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church; Ladies Shriners; Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)60-Ladies Auxiliary; Daughters of the Nile; and Veterans of Foreign Wars-Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, CPO Arthur Franklin Landon, USN (Ret.); one son, Larry Holmes of Warsaw, Ind. and daughter-in-law, Nancy Holmes; one brother, Thomas Farrow of Raleigh, N.C.; two grandchildren, Bradley Holmes of Warsaw, Ind., and Laura Hauth and her husband, Tim Hauth, both of Mansfield, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Hauth and Nicholas Hauth, both of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Thalia Lynn Baptist Church by Dr. Lawrence Harper. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. A Fleet Reserve service will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
