Am I missing something here? The Simpson-Goldman murders are another look at our media circus.
Reading the articles and watching the TV coverage, I get the feeling that the media would like to find a way for O.J. to get out of this.
In the coverage that I have seen, there is very little if anything said about Ms. Simpson and Mr. Goldman.
Here is a man, O.J. Simpson, who for years has been abusing his wife and threatening to kill her. Now he is charged with two murders.
Ms. Simpson and Mr. Goldman are dead and buried. If O.J. were an electrician or a clerk, we would get the true story. The media seem to want to help him and forget about Mr. Goldman and Ms. Simpson.
Here is a wife abuser (police were called eight times in one month) who said he would kill his wife. The media's concern is O.J.!
Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?
