Rosa Mathias Bundy, 78, of Route 1, died early Friday morning, July 1, 1994, in Autumn Care Nursing Home, Suffolk.
Mrs. Bundy was born in Gates County. She was a homemaker and a member of Parker's United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Mrs. Olivia Gertrude Harrell Mathias. She was the wife of the late Thurman Lee Bundy Sr.
Surviving is a son, T.L. Bundy Jr. of Corapeake; two sisters, Lottie M. Riddick of Sunbury and Almata Moore of Virginia Beach; and one granddaughter, Shelly Ann Bundy.
A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, by the Rev. Ann Giles Benson. Burial will follow in Parker's Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 pm. today in the funeral home. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
