Raymond Brinkley Morgan Sr., 71, owner and operator of Airline Cab Co. for 52 years, died July 1, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Morgan was born in Corapeake, N.C., where he was a member of Eureka Baptist Church. He was also a member of Western Branch Masonic Lodge (NU)189, Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies and Khedive Temple. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Morgan; three daughters, Rebecca Ann Panlilio of Portsmouth, Donna Barraugh of Great Falls, Mont., and Diane Cox of Aurora, N.C.; three sons, Raymond B. Morgan Jr. and Cleve Morgan, both of Portsmouth, and Alan Morgan of St. Augustine, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Oneal Rowe of Portsmouth and Mrs. Suzie Arnold of Millington, Tenn.; three brothers, James Edward Morgan of Chesapeake, Robert Coleman Morgan of Portsmouth and the Rev. Lewis Hunter Morgan of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with Masonic rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood and the Rev. Frank Carter. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital.
