Albino C. ``Mac'' Martin, 102, died June 28, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Martin, a native of Haganoy, Philippine Islands, was a member of First Lutheran Church in Norfolk. He was retired as an installer after 39 years with Western Electric Co., where he was part of the team that installed the first Bell telephone system in the United States. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a Shriner with Khedive Temple and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam Rogers Martin, to whom he would have been married for 50 years on July 11, 1994, and a cousin, Fely Martin.
A chapel service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Wilde Funeral Home in Parkesburg, Pa. Burial will be in Upper Octorara Cemetery in Sadsbury Township, Chester County. A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church of Norfolk at a later date with H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
