Dorothy Emma Simon, 81, of the 3800 block of Heutte Drive, died June 30, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center after a short illness.
Mrs. Simon was born in New York City and until recently had resided in Daytona Beach, Fla. She was the widow of Richard William Simon.
Survivors include two sons, Captain Richard William Simon and Walter John Simon, both of Norfolk; nine grandchildren, Teresa Marle Simon Bonds, William George Simon, Michael Richard Simon, James Walter Simon, Dawn Barbara Simon, John Albert Simon, Tammi Lee Simon, Darin Wayne Imbriaco and Todd Dwayne Imbriaco; five great-grandchildren, Dustin Luke Bonds, Shawn Elizabeth Simon, Nicholas John Simon, Michael Thomas Simon and Adam Richard Simon; her niece, Brenda Jiran Moffa; and numerous other family members.
A private service will be conducted at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
