Esther Creekmore, 88, of the 4200 block of Airline Blvd., died July 1, 1994.
Mrs. Creekmore was born in Norfolk County. She was the widow of Elijah Creekmore and was a former member of Little Zion Baptist Church, Bowers Hill.
Survivors include five daughters, Mozetta Sumpter, Alberta Bullock, Marion L. Douglas, Georgia Bunn and Mary L. Thompson; a son, Edward Creekmore; 56 grandchildren; and two sons-in-law, James T. Stith and Elder A.L. Douglas.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Little Zion Baptist Church, Bowers Hill, by the Rev. Darryl Potts. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Family will be at the residence. Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements.
