Charlotte Jane Coley Frichtel, 59, of the 4000 block of Shoreline Circle, died July 2, 1994, at her home.
Mrs. Frichtel was born in Hopewell, Va., and spent most of her life in upstate New York with her husband, John S. Frichtel, and their four children. Mrs. Frichtel was an active volunteer in many youth and community programs throughout her life. Sharing her life as a mother, church choir director and Girl Scout leader, she was always a portrait of grace and giving.
Survivors include her former husband; her children, Charles E. Frichtel, Ellen K. Allen and her husband James, Captain Timothy S. Frichtel, all of Los Angeles, Calif., and John A. Frichtel of Virginia Beach; her sister, Virginia Fentress; her mother, Nannie Coley; and her granddaughter, Monica Faye, all of Chesapeake.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
