Charles Woodrow Drake, 77, of the 3400 block of Humboldt St., died July 3, 1994, in his home.
Mr. Drake was born in Norfolk. He had retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. after 30 years. He had been retired for six years. He was a member and deacon of Norview Baptist Church and was a member of the Disciples Class.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Ashworth Drake; three daughters, Linda D. Margiotta of Chesapeake, Sheryl D. Robertson of Norfolk and Edith D. Sherman of Virginia Beach; a son, Charles W. Drake Jr. of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Norview Baptist Church by Jim Bradshaw.
