Carey Mendell Manseau, 76, of Owens Beach Road, died Saturday, July 2, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Manseau was a native of Gates County, N.C. He had retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard Shop 56 as a pipefitter. He was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church, Hobbsville.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia S. Manseau; and a brother, Jurel B. Manseau of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. Allen R. Crouch. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times at 14 Easton St., Portsmouth. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the charity of the sender's choice.
