John F. Elinski Jr., 65, died Sunday, July 3, 1994.
Mr. Elinski was the retired collection department manager for Nations Bank.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Elinski; a daughter, Kim E. Parkey of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Scott Elinski of Hampton; his parents, John and Sophia Elinski of West Point; his uncle, Frank Elinski of West Point; a stepdaughter, Donna K. Sherwood; a stepson, David Faircloth; two grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Point. Burial will be in St. Theresa's Catholic Cemetery, West Point. A Christian vigil will be at 7 p.m. tonight at the Vincent Funeral Home, West Point. Family will receive friends at the home of his parents, John and Sophia Elinski, 210 Dupont St., West Point.
