Christine Wilson Darden of Virginia Beach, died July 4, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Darden was born March 5, 1900, in Norfolk and was the widow of William H. Darden. She was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church; charter member of the Cavalier Garden Club; member of Princess Anne Country Club; former member of King's Daughters; and member of Virginia Beach General Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Darden Hodges of Virginia Beach and Jane Darden Britt of Mount Airy, N.C.; a sister, Eloise Bondurant of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Virginia Beach United Methodist Church by the Rev. Paul Bailey. Burial will be private. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or to Virginia Beach United Methodist Church.
