Miss Wagner is survived by her half-sister, Mary Wagner Fentress of Richmond, Va., and a number of cousins.

She was a lifelong member of Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church. Miss Wagner served as the church's organist for 64 years, also playing for the church's annual performances of Handel's ``Messiah'' and Stainer's ``Crucifixion.'' In 1969 she became the choir director.

In 1974 she retired as an administrative assistant at Virginia National Bank, now NationsBank, after 46 years of service, at which time she became the volunteer church secretary for almost 20 years. During her lifetime she taught Sunday School for many years and also served as piano accompanist for the Sunday School.

In April 1989 she was presented a life membership by the Tidewater Chapter of the American Guild of Organists for her 60 years as a church organist.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 1994, at 11 a.m. in United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert Dadmun Music Fund of the Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church, or the Ballentine Home, or to the charity of one's choice.
