THOMAS W. SCHANBACHER

Thomas William Schanbacher, 46, of the 800 block of Sedley Road, died July 3, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Schanbacher was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and was manager of the Bait Barn, Virginia Beach. He was a past officer of National Field Archery Association; past president of Virginia Bow Hunters Association; a past president of Princess Anne Bowmen; state director, International Bow Hunters Educational Federation; and member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Schanbacher; four stepdaughters, Jodi Baranski of Edison, N.J., Sandy Baranski and Peggy Sakow and Karen Elizabeth Baranski of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Nancy Harris of Norfolk and Leslee Hampshire of Richmond; one brother, Gary L. Schanbacher of Littleton, Colo.; and three stepgrandchildren.

A funeral will be at noon Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be private at a later date. The family will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the TWS Memorial Fund, 1612 Tallwood St., Norfolk, Va. 23518.
