ANNIE L. CARTER

Annie Lee Carter of the 300 block of Indian Creek Road, died July 3, 1994, in her home.

Mrs. Carter was born in Middletown, N.C., and was the widow of Roosevelt Carter. She was a member of New Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, the Hospitality Committee, Mother Board, Senior Choir, Pastors Aide and was superintendent of the Sunday School.

Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Carter, Annette Carter and Della Hardy of Chesapeake; three sons, Harvey McClaude and Willie W. Hardy of Chesapeake and Willie T. Hardy of Queens, N.Y.; one sister, Minnie Hardy of Chesapeake; one brother, Willie G. Hardy of Bath, N.C.; and 16 grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in New Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Hubert H. Wilson Jr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
