Theodore L. Tyree, 88, of the 4800 block of Westgrove Road, died July 5, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Tyree was born in Dawson, W.Va., and was a retired chemical plant worker for FMC Corp., South Charleston, W.Va. He was the former owner of Tyree's Photography Studio, also in South Charleston. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army as a medic in England and France. He was a past member of the Lions Club in West Virginia.
Survivors include one son, Willie Tyree of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, W.Va., by the Rev. Ed Messersmith. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lions Club.
