The Norfolk Suburban Breakfast Lions Club has awarded the Medal of Merit to Margaret Gumble (Margie) Hofheimer on behalf of Lions International. She received the award in recognition of a lifetime of service to the visually handicapped which has included transcribing hundreds of books into Braille and teaching the technique to more than 50 students who went on to become Braillists on their own.
