Prior to the change I was seriously considering canceling my subscription. The liberal slant you took on the news and local issues made me sick to my stomach. As a native-born Norfolk resident, I never thought our local paper would cave in to the liberal Democrats and other whiners. Now I look forward to each day's issue knowing there will be some balance in viewpoints.
We have more than enough liberal babble and slanted news bombarding us through our TV sets without our newspaper reinforcing the garbage.
Look what this liberalism has done to our life in just 25 years. It has created a welfare state, ruined our schools, increased the crime rate, attempted to abolish God from our lives, socialized our government, destroyed our families, compromised our morals and accepted homosexuality as normal. I'm sure our ancestors are turning over in their graves.
Virginians have demonstrated their conservative views by electing Governor Allen, and are on the verge of dumping the liberal playboy Robb. Come on, voters, give `em the messages ``Enough is enough'' and ``We don't trust the president or her husband.''
