Helen Williams Johnson, 85, formerly of the first block of Aylwin Road, died July 7, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Norfolk and was the widow of R.V. Johnson Sr. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis J. Deaton of Richmond and Libby J. Yarbrough of Chesapeake; one son, R.V. Johnson Jr. of Arlington, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Scott Ranck. The family will receive friends at 1560 Odman Drive, Chesapeake. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
