Araminta Jane Guthrie, 59, of the 200 block of Jacquelyn Drive, died July 7, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Guthrie was a native of Roanoke, Va., and was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur R. Guthrie; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Guthrie Fowler and Charles Michael Fowler of Portsmouth; two sisters, Loretta Ann Hare of Hampton and Grace Tillie Cassell of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Janey Michele Fowler and Christopher Michael Fowler; and two special nurses, Lynn Visconti and Brenda Smith.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Pinecrest Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
