Gary L. Henry, 40, of Liberty, N.C, formerly of Virginia Beach, died Wednesday, July 6, 1994, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
A native of Randolph County, he worked for Northwest Airlines in Norfolk.
Survivors include his father and mother, Charles Max and Jean Willard Henry; paternal grandmother, Mabel Frazier Lane of Spaley, N.C.; sisters, Barbara Henry Fogleman and husband, Roger; nephews Wes and Dan of Mountain Home, Idaho; a sister, Cheryl Henry Routh and husband, Doug; niece, Mary, of Staley, N.C.; uncles, Bill Willard and family of Randleman, N.C., and Dr. Tom Willard and family of Dayton, Ohio; an aunt, Mrs. Peggy Willard Ryan and family of Greensboro, N.C.
Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Chic Willard.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty, N.C. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty and at other times, at the home of the parents, 405 East Starmount Drive, Liberty N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be be made to Happy Hills Animal Foundation, 5953 Willard Drive, Staley, N.C., 27355 or Hospice of Randolph County, P.O.
