BENJAMIN WALKER

Benjamin Walker, 82, of the 500 block of Hilltop Drive, a construction worker, died July 3, 1994, at home.

Mr. Walker was born in Sussex County, Va.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Walker and Marie Walker, both of Lutherville; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Green and Mrs. Laura Edmonds, both of Suffolk, and Mrs. Mary Whitaker of Detroit; three brothers, the Rev. John Walker of St. Louis, Mo., Roosevelt Walker of Detroit and Willie Walker of Suffolk; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Healing Chapel Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. Valentino Lassiter. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home, Suffolk. Family and friends will assemble at the home of Mrs. Laura Edmonds, 1012 Truman Road, for the procession to the church Saturday at 1 p.m.
