Patsy Gray Williams, 93, of Manteo, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, in a Nags Head nursing home.
Mrs. Williams, a native of Salvo, N.C., was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Little Cyrus and Melvina Midgett Gray and the widow of the late Claude Thompson Williams.
Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Ina W. Long of Manteo and Alma W. MacDonald of Virginia Beach; one sister, Minnie G. Gray of Barco; one brother, Cyrus Gray of El Paso, Texas; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Saturday, July 9, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Robert Bundy. Burial will follow in Manteo Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and at other times at the home of Debbie Gwaltney, Scuppernong Road, Manteo. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, is in charge of arrangements.
