Ellen B. Gay of the 1900 block of Montclair Ave., died July 8, 1994.
Mrs. Gay was born in Surry County, Va. She was a member of Metropolitan AME Zion Church, the Missionary Society and Women's Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. James Gay; three daughters, Elnora E. Temple, Audrey A. Riddick and Ellen Baker; one son, James L. Gay; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sons-in-law; one daughter-in-law; and one foster son, Gilbert Hoffler.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Metropolitan Life AME Zion Church by the Rev. Richard Council. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the church at 11:45 a.m. The body will be taken to church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
