ANNA M. ARNOLD

Anna Mary Arnold, 81, of the first block of Jouett St., died July 8, 1994, in Chesapeake.

Mrs. Arnold, a native of Burnsville, W.Va, was the daughter of the late Emma Lee Cunningham Riffle and Walter L. Riffle. She was the widow of Thomas Everett Arnold and a member of Temple Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include one daughter, Ella Gillespie of Peachtree City, Ga.; two sisters and their husbands, Myrtle R. and Lee J. Ryals Jr. of Chesapeake and Gwendolyn R. and Bernard W. Clements of Canton, Ohio; one brother, Ernest W. Riffle of Portsmouth; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Allen L. Dooley. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at 2136 Armada Drive, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
