Lois L. Whaley, 58, of the 1800 block of Tolworth Drive, died July 8, 1994, in her home.
Mrs. Whaley taught in the Richmond, Hampton, and Virginia Beach Public Schools. In Virginia Beach she was a Teacher at Windsor Woods Elementary School, a Curriculum Assistant, Early Childhood supervisor, and Assistant Principal at Kingston and Green Run Elementary Schools. She was currently the Principal at John B. Dey Elementary School. Mrs. Whaley was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas P. Whaley, and her mother, Mary Q. Lambert of Hampton, VA. She was preceded in death by a brother, William A. Lambert.
A church service will be conducted Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. in the All Saints Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach by Rev. Stanley Sawyer. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Monday July 11, from 7 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
