Eric Antony Edwards, 34, of the 1300 Block of Wingfield Avenue, died July 9, 1994 in a Norfolk Hospital.
Mr. Edwards was born in Bitburg, Germany. He was the owner of ETC Screen Printing and has been in the screen printing business for many years. He was very active in community events and was always willing to give of himself to someone in need both emotionally and financially. He can never know the many lives that he has touched and the love he leaves behind.
Survivors include: 1 son, George R. Fulgham of Virginia Beach; mother and stepfather, Patricia A. and Curtis E. Shields of Virginia Beach; his dad and stepmother, Leonard L. and Martha S. Stellwag of Knotts Island, NC.; father and stepmother, William A. Edwards, Sr. and wife Ursula S. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandmother, Estella R. Bibey of Virginia Beach; 4 sisters, Gwendolyn L. Kinstler of Norfolk; Diane S. Sawyer of Chesapeake; Karen L. Perry of Norfolk; and Margaret Ann Smith of Knotts Island, NC; 3 brothers, William A. Edwards, Jr. of Virginia Beach; Wayne C. Shields of Washington, D.C.; and Roy A. Shields of Chesapeake; 8 nieces and nephews; In-laws, Gene P. and Evelyn H. Arlaud of Virginia Beach; and his dog Bandit.
A Memorial Celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Reverend Ernest L. Trueblood, family and friends.
