VIRGINIA OTEY ``PULLA'' HART

Virginia O. Hart, of the 1500 block of Link Street, Norfolk, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 1994. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was the loving, faithful wife of Melvin O. Hart, Sr.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church for nearly all her life, where she served faithfully on the Deaconess Board, Pastor's Aide, and the Missionary Circle.

She gave of herself graciously and lovingly to all and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Adams of Washington, D.C., and one brother, Frank Otey of New York. She leaves to mourn five sons and five daughters, Melvin O. Hart, Jr., Margo H. Joyner, Marilyn H. Webb, Malcom C. Hart, Michelle H. Jones and Marvin M. Hart of Norfolk, Virginia, Micheal D. Hart and Maurice L. Hart of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Melva H. Moore and Marvette H. Darby of Chesapeake, Virginia; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A homegoing service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 13 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. C.M. Heidelberg at 1:00 p.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. The family will assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
