KATHERINE COOK

Mrs. Katherine ``Kate'' Cook, 91, of 1061 Pitchkettle Road, Suffolk, died July 9, 1994 in Manning Convalescent Home, Portsmouth. She was a native of Sussex County and was the widow of Richard Cook.

She was a member of Greater Sweet Beulah Pentecostal Church where she served on the Mothers Board and was a member of the Lottie Jordan Missionary Circle.

Her survivors include a host of friends, including two devoted friends, Mrs. Bernice Piland and Mrs. Judith Weaver, both of Suffolk; a godsister, Mrs. Irene Russell of Washington, D.C.; two godchildren, Mrs. Eunice Smith and Lonnie Arrington, both of Washington; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rebecca Johnson of Suffolk.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at 2:30 p.m. in Greater Sweet Beulah Pentecostal Church by Dr. Madison G. Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The body will be taken to the Church at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. The family will assemble at Crocker Funeral Home for the procession to the church.
