William ``Bill'' Francis Dollete McCarthy, II, 12, of the 1900 block of Clayton Court, a student, went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 1994. He died in his residence.
He was born in El Centro, Calif., and was a Virginia Beach resident since 1983. He was pursuing an education at SECEP.
Survivors include his loving mother and father, Natividad D. and John P. McCarthy of Virginia Beach; sisters, Jennifer Harrell, her husband, Adam, and Bill's cousin Austyn, all of Jacksonville, N.C.; Racquel McCarthy of Virginia Beach; brothers, Danilo, Allan, Christopher, and John P. III, all of Virginia Beach; uncle, William F., aunt Catherine and cousin Haley, all of Arlington, Mass.; uncles, Leopoldo, Juanito, Pio, aunt Ida and family of the Philippines.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Father Daniel Klem. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tidewater Chapter of the Autism Society of America, 861 Glenrock Road, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
