Virginia ``Virgie'' Monds Bailey, 72, of the 1400 block of Cromell Ave., died July 8, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Edenton, N.C. She retired from Prices Inc. in 1986.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Gwin of Chesapeake, Gail Mohrman of Bluff, Utah, Debby Bailey of Chesapeake and Tammy Myers of Norfolk; a son, Wayne Bailey, Jr. of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Willis H. Bond, Frank Bond and Murray P. Bond, all of Edenton; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by Father William C. Hoffman. The family will receive friends at 4312 Onawa Lane, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513, or the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Suite 104, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements.
