Jesse Roland Blow Jr., 66, of the 2100 block of Armada Drive, died Saturday, July 9, 1994.
Mr. Blow was a native of Portsmouth. He had retired from the U.S. Postal Service as assistant postmaster for the City of Chesapeake. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, America Fellowship Masonic Lodge 148, Mount Horeb Royal Arch Chapter 11, Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies, Khedive Shrine Temple and BPOE 82.
Survivors include his wife, Janet H. Blow; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary R. Blow and Robbin Blow of Chesapeake; a brother, Thomas B. Blow of Wake, Va.; and three grandchildren, Jennifer, Ronald and Jesse.
The graveside service with Masonic rites will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Philip J. Parker. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
