Bertha McDaniel LeMaster, 88, died July 9, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. LeMaster was born in Martinsburg, W.Va. She was a custodian of First Baptist Church of Winchester and was a retired babysitter. She was the widow of Ernest LeMaster. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winchester and was a choir member. She attended Simonsdale Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia L. DeHaven of Portsmouth; two sisters; two brothers; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Melvin S. Hester. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
She will be sent to Omps Funeral Home in Winchester, Va., for a funeral service and burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the hearing impairments division of the Lion's Club.
