EMMA MARGARET S. JOHNSON

Emma Margaret Skelton Johnson, 84, of the 3000 block of Manning Road, a retired accounting clerk, died July 10, 1994, in Suffolk.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Edinburg, Va., and was retired from Cal Moore Accounting Firm. She was a member of First Baptist Church, N. Main Street, and the Thurman Hayes Sunday School Class.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay D. Jernigan of Suffolk and Melissa C. McGraw of Fort Thomas, Ky.; one son, Douglas W. Johnson of Seaford, Va.; one brother, George W. Skelton Jr. of Seaford, Del.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Hugh Hollar of Edinburg, Va.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, N. Main Street, by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Wood Cemetery in Edinburg, Va. Friends may join the family at Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through First Baptist Church, c/o 237 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434 or to Suffolk Gideons Camp, P.O.
