Charles E. Blue Jr. of Miami and Albemarle County, Va., died on July 7, 1994 in Miami.
He was born December 11, 1905 in Wheeling, W.Va. He was retired from the Air Force in 1965 as a Lt. Colonel after 38 years of active and active reserve duty. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church (Charlottesville) and the Reserve Officers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Blue of Miami; a son, Thomas D. Blue of Albemarle County, Va.; two daughters, Sara B. Anderson of Woodbridge, Va. and Marjorie B. Kidd of Norfolk, Va.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church on High Street, Charlottesville, on Sunday, July 17, at 3 p.m.
The family requests that instead of flowers, gifts be made to charities of the donor's choice.
