Edward M. ``Mac'' Henderson Jr., 84, of the 500 block of Hannibal St, died July 10, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Henderson was retired from the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co. with 45 years of service. He was a native of Giles County, Va., and was formerly a resident of Covington, Va. He was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice L. Henderson; a daughter, Betty J. Winn of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Evelyn H. Dickson and Dorothy H. Crawford, both of Covington, Juanita H. Whiteside of Norfolk and Irene H. Weithorn of Mesquite, Texas; a brother, Gus Henderson of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Linda Montgomery and Doug Matheny, both of Virginia Beach, Mark Matheny of Warrenton, Va.; seven great-grandchildren, Michael Montgomery, Brandon Matheny, Matt Montgomery, Lauren Montgomery, Patrick Montgomery, Joshua Matheny and Danielle Matheny.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in London Bridge Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Taylor. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel.
