WILLIAM M. SKLAR

William Mark Sklar, 62, of the first block of Harbor Court, died July 11, 1994, in Cape Charles, Va.

Mr. Sklar, a native of Becceria Township, Pa., was a fish spotter for Zapata-Haynie Fishing Co. He was a member of the Ambassador Club of Portsmouth, Fleet Reserve Association, Fraternal Order of Police, Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Janice D. Sklar; a daughter, Nancy A. Solis of Chesapeake; three sons, Michael C. Sklar of Suffolk and William P. Sklar and Bryan A. Sklar, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Darlene Faircloth of Chesapeake; a brother, Tom Cusick of Chesapeake; and six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Ambassador Club of Portsmouth-Christmas Basket Fund.
