Ted Alex Roth, 25, of Norfolk, Va., died July 10, 1994, as a result of a tragic automobile accident.
Ted graduated magna cum laude in accounting from Virginia Tech in 1990, where he served the community as a member, officer, and life member of the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad. Ted's resolve and caring way of life led him to medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in Norfolk, Va. Ted represented his future profession as a student delegate member of the American Medical Association.
He was active as co-president of the Emergency Medical Club and The Family Medicine Interest Group of EVMS. He also served as an associate member of the Nansemond Suffolk Volunteer Rescue Squad, in Suffolk, Va.
Ted is survived by his wife, Anita Marie, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Eric Maybach of Warrenton, Va.; his parents, William and Linda Roth of Fairfax Station, Va.; his sisters, Sandy Roth Smibert of Atlanta, Ga. and Holly Roth of Blacksburg, Va.; and all the family and friends whose spirit he deepened.
A memorial service will be held July 14, 1994, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Warrenton, Va. Interment will be in the Warrenton Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to a memorial fund in Ted's memory at Marshall National Bank, 615 Branch Drive, Warrenton, Va. 22186. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Moser Funeral Home Inc., Warrenton, Va.
