MOSES ROSSER

Moses Rosser, 62, of the 7200 block of Oakmont Drive, died July 11, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Rosser was born in Halifax, N.C., son of the late Lydia L. and Willie Rosser. He was retired as a tile helper after 30 years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Halifax.

Survivors include his wife, Emma M. Rosser; one stepdaughter, Peggy A. Wood of Gaffney, S.C.; two sons, Anthony M. Harris of Maryland and Michael A. Harris of Washington, D.C.; one stepson, Charles Harris of Gaffney; six sisters, Rhoda Alston of Pittsburgh, Daisy Wright of Castalia, N.C., Calion Silver of Enfield, N.C., Winnie Lynch of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Ruth R. Walker and Roma R. Nelson, both of Norfolk; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Halifax, N.C., by the Rev. Tommy Richardson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will assemble at his residence, 7244 Oakmont Drive, Apt. C-3. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
