Clarence Britt Sr., 80, of the 22000 block of High St., a retired laborer, died July 11, 1994, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.
Mr. Britt was born in Southampton County and was a member of First Baptist Church, Courtland. He was retired from the Town of Courtland.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Britt; four daughters, Clementine Warren and Antionette Britt, both of Courtland, and Gail Britt and Shelia Britt, both of Franklin; five sons, Larry Warren of Suffolk, Walter Warren of Franklin, Clarence Britt Jr., Corey Britt and Gregory Britt, all of Courtland; and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles R. Barnes. Burial will be in Helping Hand Cemetery. Engram Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
