Gladys Marie Rhodes, 65, of the 4700 block of Rivershore Road, a retired nurse, died July 12, 1994, in a local nursing home.
She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Churchland Senior Citizens and the Beazley Center. She was retired from Maryview Medical Center.
Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn R. Pringle of Portsmouth and Emily Jean Barger of Delaware, Ohio; and one brother, William Harold Rhodes of Princeton, W.Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Douglas Gestwick. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware, Ohio. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Twin Pines Road, Portsmouth, Va. 23703.
