NORFOLK FOUNDATION COMMITTEE

John H. Foster, a former Norfolk city councilman, has been appointed to a five-year term on the Norfolk Foundation's seven-member distribution committee.

In June, Toy D. Savage Jr., a Norfolk lawyer, was named chairman of the committee. Joshua P. Darden Jr., president of Colonial Chevrolet and Darden Properties, was named vice chairman.

The foundation has nearly $45 million in asssets. It distributed nearly $2 million in charitable funds in 1993. ILLUSTRATION: John H. Foster
