SUFFOLK CRIME REPORT

The crimes listed below were reported to the Suffolk Police Department. Because they are initial reports, they are allegations only, and may or may not have resulted in criminal charges.

DISTRICT A

Grand Larceny: 6100 block Town Point Road, June 29, a man reported his 1984 Mercury Marquis stolen.

Breaking and Entering: 8000 block Clubhouse Drive, June 30, someone kicked open the front door of the tennis clubhouse, entered the pool house, pried off a lock and took two cases of tennis balls valued at $200, 10 tennis rackets valued at $500, water coolers valued at $150, two phones valued at $850, a grilled-cheese sandwich maker valued at $35 and a portable stereo valued at $50.

Petty Larceny: 3200 block Bridge Road, June 30, someone took two cartons of cigarettes.

Petty Larceny: 6100 block Brookwood Drive, July 1, a woman reported that someone took her son's bike from the front yard.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 3400 block Bob White Drive, July 2, someone took a 1984 Kenworth K-100 tractor.

Armed Robbery: 5300 block James Avenue, July 2, a man reported that he was held at knife-point and his life was threatened. The assailant took the victim's wallet, which contained $1,500, and hit him in the eye with his fist.

Grand Larceny: Shoulders Hill Road, July 3, someone took a boat trailer from a parking lot.

Vandalism: 600 block Roosevelt Drive, July 5, someone punctured two car tires.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 6000 block College Drive, July 6, someone entered a home through a window and took a G.E. VCR valued at $277.97.

DISTRICT B

Petty Larceny: 3600 block Pruden Boulevard, June 30, someone pumped $20 worth of gas without paying.

Hit and Run: 2700 block Kings Fork Road, July 1, a car traveling on the wrong side of the road forced another vehicle into an embankment. Damage was estimated at $800.

Petty Larceny: 3600 block Pruden Boulevard, July 1, someone pumped $10.03 worth of gas without paying.

Petty Larceny: 3600 block Labrador Lane, July 5, someone took a wooden post and black metal mailbox.

DISTRICT C

Petty Larceny: 800 block West Washington Street, June 30, someone pumped $3.50 worth of gas without paying.

Petty Larceny: 600 block North Main Street, July 1, someone took a black leather purse from an office.

Vandalism: 100 block Brewer Avenue, July 1, a man reported that someone damaged his front door.

Breaking and Entering: 100 block Brewer Avenue, July 1, someone took a jewelry box containing a gold watch valued at $75.

Grand Larceny: 600 block North Main Street, July 1, someone took a Pioneer stereo from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: 100 block South Saratoga Street, July 1, someone took $10 and an AM/FM cassette radio from a vehicle.

Breaking and Entering: 200 block Smith Street, July 1, someone entered a home through a bedroom window and took a portable stereo.

Petty Larceny: 1200 block Holland Road, July 1, someone took an AM/FM cassette radio from a vehicle.

Breaking and Entering: 600 block Ashley Avenue, July 1, a suspect forced open a front door and took two rings valued at $600.

Petty Larceny: 800 block North Main Street, July 1, someone took state tag decals from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: 600 block North Main Street, July 1, someone took license plates from a vehicle.

Breaking and Entering: 100 block West Washington Street, July 2, someone broke two church windows and took an air conditioner.

Hit and Run: 900 block North Main Street, July 2, a woman reported that her vehicle was struck on the front passenger side. Damage is estimated at $400.

Petty Larceny: 1200 block North Main Street, July 2, a woman said someone took her wallet from the jewelry counter at Wal-Mart.

Grand Larceny: 1200 block North Main Street, July 3, a suspect took a Coleman power washer valued at $289.94 and a cooler valued at $5.

Residential Break-in: 300 block Jackson Street, July 4, someone entered a home through a bedroom window and took a 19-inch color TV, a VCR and a Sega video game, valued at $466.

Vandalism: 100 block Church Street, July 4, a woman reported that two suspects damaged her gate. Damage estimated at $50.

Assault and Battery: 600 block Brook Avenue, July 5, a woman reported that a man placed a knife against a her throat during an argument and threatened to kill her. The woman attempted to throw bleach in the suspect's face, but instead splashed it in her own eyes.

Vandalism: 600 block North Main Street, July 5, someone threw a rock through a window, causing $200 damage.

Business Breaking and Entering: 300 block South Saratoga Street, July 5, someone took an air conditioner.

Unlawful Concealment: 800 block West Washington Street, July 5, a man took four packs of Polaroid film valued at $73.16.

Vandalism: 400 block Smith Street, July 5, someone forced open a back door.

Grand Larceny: 1500 block North Main Street, July 5, someone took a metal truck ramp valued at $300.

Grand Larceny: 800 block West Constance Road, July 5, someone took two cellular phones, valued at $1,098.

Petty Larceny: 800 block West Constance Road, July 5, two suspects concealed meat under their shirts.

Hit and Run: 400 block Market Street, July 6, a woman reported that someone sideswiped her vehicle.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 300 block North Broad Street, July 6, someone took a Panasonic TV/VCR, a wedding ring and a Panasonic digital clock.

Petty Larceny: 1200 block North Main Street, July 6, a juvenile suspect took a jackpot computer game valued at $19.97.

DISTRICT D

Possession of Cocaine With Intent to Distribute: Spruce Street and Van Buren Avenue, June 30, a suspect was arrested for possession of cocaine.

Assault: 2500 block East Washington Street, June 30, a police officer reported being assaulted by a suspect while attempting to arrest him.

Felony Vandalism: 2500 block East Washington Street, June 30, a woman reported that someone broke five windows valued at $200 each.

Felonious Assault: 2500 block East Washington Street, June 30, a man was struck in the forehead and left hand with a bottle.

Petty Larceny: 2200 block East Washington Street, June 29, someone took an AM/FM cassette stereo valued at $150 from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: John F. Kennedy Middle School, June 30, someone broke a car window and removed six cassette tapes.

Petty Larceny: 100 block Dill Road, July 1, someone took three state inspection stickers from three city vehicles.

Grand Larceny: 2200 block East Washington Street, July 1, someone took an air conditioner.

Petty Larceny: 300 block Moore Avenue, July 1, someone took five cases of Lipton instant tea, valued at $175.

Vandalism: 100 block South Main Street, July 1, someone broke a car window.

Vandalism: 100 block Cullodan Street, July 1, someone broke a car windshield. Damage estimated at $400.

Vandalism: 600 block East Washington Street, July 1, someone broke a window valued at $125.

Armed Robbery: Pinner Street and Pearl Street, July 1, a woman reported that someone took her son's bicycle.

Concealed Weapon: East Washington Street and Cullodan Street, July 1, a suspect was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon - a machete.

Burglary: 300 block Goodman Street, July 1, a suspect entered a church storage house and took $100 worth of food.

Petty Larceny: 500 block Constance Road, July 2, a woman reported that someone took two telephones.

Breaking and Entering: 100 block Nancy Drive, July 2, a woman reported that someone tore a hole in a screen window, reached in and took her purse and $450 in cash.

Shooting Into Occupied Dwelling: 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, July 2, someone shot a bullet through a front porch wall.

Petty Larceny: 400 block Carolina Road, July 2, someone pumped $20 worth of gas without paying.

Vandalism: 1500 block River Creek Crescent, July 2, someone shot into a home, causing $250 damage.

Felonious Assault: 300 block North Capitol Street, July 2, a man reported that a suspect struck him in the back of the head with a padlock.

Petty Larceny: 1500 block Dover Court, July 3, someone took $40 in cash.

Petty Larceny: 500 block Constance Road, July 3, someone took a license plate from a vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 1400 block Wilroy Road, July 3, a woman reported that a suspect took her car.

Grand Theft Auto: 2500 block East Washington Street, July 3, a man reported that someone took his car.

Strong Arm Robbery: 300 block North Fifth Street, July 3, four suspects, one with a gun, got out of a blue vehicle and robbed a victim of a cigarette case valued at $3.

Strong Arm Robbery: 300 block North Fifth Street, July 3, four suspects with a gun got out of a blue vehicle and robbed a victim of his wallet and $265 in cash.

Vandalism: 2400 block Pamlico Circle, July 3, someone damaged the dashboard around a car's stereo.

Felonious Assault: 100 block Nancy Drive, July 4, a man reported that a suspect stabbed him in the arm with a knife during an argument.

Destroy Private Property: 200 block Morgan Street, July 4, a suspect struck the complainant's car with a hoe during an argument.

Grand Larceny: 400 block Fulcher Street July 5, a suspect took a weed-eater and a Black and Decker circular saw.

Grand Larceny: 100 block Sixth Street, July 5, someone took three hammers, two screwdrivers, pliers, a screw gun, a Black and Decker drill, a roll of copper wire and assorted tools, valued at $500.

Breaking and Entering: 300 block Moore Avenue, July 5, someone entered a tool room and took an industrial fan valued at $200, an air wrench valued at $285, two pipe wrenches valued at $200, a jockey grinder valued at $300 and a side grinder valued at $680.

Grand Larceny: 1200 block Clary's Drive, July 5, someone broke a car window and took a 600 watt amplifier.

Petty Larceny: 3300 block Gloucester Street, July 5, someone took an air conditioner.

Petty Larceny: 2300 block East Washington Street, July 5, someone took a 12-speed bicycle.

Grand Larceny: 1400 block Wilroy Road, July 5, someone used a stolen bank card to withdraw $1,350 from the complainant's account.

Grand Larceny: 800 block Dill Road, July 5, a man reported that someone took nine rods and reels from his boat.

Church Breaking and Entering: 100 block Beech Street, July 5, someone ransacked a church.

Attempted Residential Breaking and Entering: 300 block North Fourth Street, July 5, someone attempted to enter a kitchen window by removing the window screen.

Felonious Assault: 2200 block East Washington Street, July 5, a suspect cut a man with either a knife or a razor.

Hit and Run (Property Damage): 700 block Hollywood Avenue, July 6, a driver lost control of his car and struck a fence.

Petty Larceny: 2500 block East Washington Street, July 6, someone took an AM/FM cassette player from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: 600 block East Constance Road, July 6, someone took the rear plastic window from a 1991 Geo Tracker.

Vandalism: 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, July 6, someone wrote on the side of a van with a Magic Marker.

Felonious Assault: 1000 block Wilroy Road, July 6, a woman reported that a suspect cut her on the arm with a knife, kicked her in the stomach and dragged her down the road by her hair.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 100 block Bank Street, July 6, someone took a Fisher VCR and a window air conditioner.

Concealed Weapon: 2200 block East Washington Street, July 6, a suspect was arrested for carrying a Ruger 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

Concealed Weapon: 2200 block East Washington Street, July 6, a suspect was arrested for carrying a Baikal 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

DISTRICT E

Possession of Cocaine: Route 58 and Route 189, July 2, police found a substance believed to be cocaine during a search.

Grand Larceny: 1500 block Holland Road, July 2, a man reported that two suspects picked up his blue overnight bag.

Petty Larceny: 1500 block Holland Road, July 2, someone pumped $13.39 worth of gas without paying.

Possession of Cocaine: Route 189 and Cumberland, July 3, police found a substance believed to be cocaine during a search.

Assault and Battery on Police Officer: Route 189 and Cumberland, July 3, a suspect pushed a police officer while he was being arrested for possession of cocaine.

Grand Larceny Auto: 500 block Glen Haven Drive, July 4, someone took a 1992 Acura Integra.

Petty Larceny: 1500 block Holland Road, July 6, someone pumped $3 worth of gas without paying.

DISTRICT F

Petty Larceny: 1100 block Carolina Road, June 30, someone pumped $14 worth of gas without paying.

Hit and Run (Property Damage): 2600 block Holland Road, July 2, a 1990 Jaguar was abandoned in a ditch. Damage estimated at $5,000.

Vandalism: 1500 block Lake Speight Drive, July 5, someone broke a window.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 3300 block Gloucester Street, July 5, a woman reported that a someone took an air conditioner.

Vandalism: Carolina Road and Cypress Chapel Road, July 5, someone broke a car windshield.

Vandalism: 800 block Cypress Chapel Road, July 5, someone broke a truck windshield.

Grand Larceny: 200 block Kilby Shores Drive, July 6, someone took a boy's bicycle.
