Hortense Agee Nyce, 79, a retired dietitian, died July 11, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Nyce was born in Franklin County, Va., and was the widow of Donald B. Nyce. She was retired from Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Va.
Survivors include two sons, Luther D. Agee of Yorktown, Va., and Walter S. Agee of Chesapeake; six sisters, Mildred Biegar and Blanch Hicks of Franklin County, Beatrice Ware of Rocky Mount, Va., Clydie Guilliams of Roanoke and Betty Jane Dowell of East Bend, N.C. and Beulah Eatmon of Norfolk; five brothers, Cecil Wright, George Wright and Leroy Wright of Roanoke, Va., Norman Wright and Franklin Wright of Franklin County; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Oakey's Funeral Home, South Chapel, Roanoke. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Franklin County. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
