So President and Mrs. Clinton need contributions for their legal defense. At $2 million per year (estimated cost), they will certainly line the pockets of many of their legal colleagues. Maybe it is time for cost controls on legal representation. Or better yet, ``universal/-managed legal care.''
If the president chooses the most expensive lawyers, it is his prerogative. To ask ordinary citizens to fund this extravagance is not only unjustifiable, it's pitiful.
Possibly the Clintons' experience will open their eyes for the need for criminal law and tort reform! Maybe Hillary would like to lead a new committee.
