Mary Hazel Gunter Gibb, 79, of the first block of Albania St., died Wednesday, July 13, 1994, in Chowan Hospital.
A native of Northampton County, Va., Mrs. Gibb was the daughter of the late James Allan and Margie Elizabeth Smith Gunter. She was a member of Edenton Baptist Church, where she was active in the Ann Bagby Circle.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Philip Gibb Sr.; two sons, Harold Philip Gibb Jr. of Belle Haven, Va., and Tracy Allan Gibb of Evans, Ga.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in Williford-Barham Funeral Home by Dr. Kenneth Word. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Belle Haven Cemetery, Belle Haven, Va. The family requests no flowers and no memorials.
